Privacy policy

As of May 25, 2018, the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (referred to as “RODO”, “ORODO”, “GDPR” or “General Data Protection Regulation”) apply.

Data processing rules

The following data will be used for processing: IP address, request URL, domain name, device ID, browser type, browser language, number of clicks, amount of time spent on individual pages, date and time of use, operating system type and version, screen resolution, and data collected in server logs.

Data is/may be collected as part of the use of the Administrator’s website, services and other related functionalities. Cookies are used for:

  • adapt the content of the website to your preferences and optimize the use of the websites;
  • to make measurements that help us understand how users use the site so that we can optimize and improve it;
  • maintain the user’s session after logging in, thanks to which the User does not have to re-enter his/her login and password on each sub-page;
  • ensure security of services, including detection of fraud and abuse.

The Service uses two main types of cookies: “session” (session cookies) and ‘permanent’ (persistent cookies). “Session” cookies are temporary files that are stored on the user’s terminal device until the user logs out, leaves the website or shuts down the browser. “Permanent” cookies are stored on the user’s end device for the time specified in the parameters of the cookies or until they are deleted by the user.

Purposes, legal basis for processing and retention

Data processing purposes:

  • Performing the Administrator-user contract, including providing services to Users, tailoring services to Users’ needs, analyzing and improving services, and ensuring the security of services in the form of the website.
  • Statistical measurement, marketing (including data analysis and profiling for marketing purposes) of the administrator’s products and services.

Legal Basis:

  • Article 6.1.b of the GDPR – necessity for the performance of a contract to which the User is a party.
  • Article 6.1.f of the GDPR – legitimate interest of the controller.

Processing period:

  • Until the expiration of the contract, except that data may be processed after the expiration of the contract if permitted or required by applicable law, such as processing for statistical or billing purposes, or for the purpose of asserting claims.
  • Until an effective objection is raised.

Legal basis for processing

The legal basis for processing your data for the purpose of providing services, tailoring services to users’ needs, analyzing and improving services, and ensuring the security of services in the form of the website is acceptance of the Terms and Conditions. The legal basis for processing your data for statistical measurement, marketing (including data analysis and profiling for marketing purposes) of the administrator’s products and services (self-marketing) is your legitimate interest. Provision of personal data is voluntary, but failure to provide data marked as necessary to provide services to the user will prevent the provision of such services.

Recipients and potential recipients of data

Data is processed by the Administrator and may be transferred to entities that process personal data on behalf of the Administrator – with such entities processing data on the basis of a contract with the Administrator and only in accordance with the Administrator’s purposes. Data may also be transferred to entities authorized to obtain them under applicable law, e.g. law enforcement agencies. The Administrator has no intention to transfer personal data to a third country or to an international organization.

User rights related to the processing of personal data

The user has the following rights:

  • the right to access data, including obtaining a copy of the data,
  • the right to request the rectification of data,
  • the right to erasure of data (in specific situations),
  • the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority responsible for data protection,
  • the right to restrict the processing of data.

If the data are processed on the basis of consent, the user may additionally exercise the right to withdraw consent to the extent that they are processed on that basis. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that was carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

If the data are processed on the basis of consent or as part of the service provided (the data are necessary for the purpose of providing the service), the user may additionally exercise the right to portability of personal data, i.e. to receive his personal data from the controller, in a structured, commonly used readable format.
