ACCREDITED REGISTRATION

Registration was carried out using the Accreditation System for the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU and was completed on May 19.

Only a registered person can be a participant of the conference!

SECURE ENTRY

Registered participants will receive a personalized identifier during the conference, which will allow access to certain areas of the military facility at the Academy. For security reasons, the identifier must be worn at all times and kept in a visible location. A lost identifier will not be reissued!

In order to issue a badge, registered participants will be asked to provide in the registration form such data as name, surname, date and place of birth, identity card (or passport) number and military rank (if applicable).

RECOMMENDED ACCOMMODATIONS

A special discount offer of three hotels in convenient locations in Gdynia, no more than 15 kilometers from the Polish Naval Academy, has been prepared for visitors.

For the duration of the conference, participants may use free public transportation in Gdynia - upon presentation of a badge issued by the conference organizer.

TRANSPORT

FROM AIRPORT

Upon arrival at Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport, one of the convenient ways to reach Gdynia is by the POLREGIO train line "R", departing from the "Gdańsk Port Lotniczy" platform (located near the terminal). Trains run approximately every 35 minutes, and the journey to the "Gdynia Główna" station takes around 25 minutes. From the station, you can continue your journey using public transportation – the nearest bus stop is "Gdynia Dworzec Gł. PKP – HALA 04," from where bus line ZKM "150" departs approximately every 20 minutes towards the "Oksywie Dolne 02" stop. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes.

There is also the option to take a taxi directly from the airport to the Polish Naval Academy in Gdynia. Depending on traffic conditions, the journey takes approximately 35 minutes. The fare usually ranges from 160 to 200 PLN (around 40–50 EUR), depending on the taxi provider.

TO CONFERENCE

The Organizer will provide transportation (June 2–3) directly to the Polish Naval Academy, where the conference will take place. The bus will be waiting for participants in front of the Mercury Hotel (22 Armii Krajowej Street) from 7:45 to 8:00.

LANGUAGE & COMMUNICATION

The Digital Baltic 2025 conference will use English. Simultaneous interpretation will not be provided.

CURRENCY

Poland is not a member of the European monetary system, and the country's currency is the zloty (PLN).

TIME

Poland uses Central European Summer Time - CEST (UTC+2) from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October.

ELECTRICY

The voltage in Poland is 220 V, 50 Hz, with type C and E plugs. Make sure you have the right adapters for your devices.

WEATHER

June in Poland sees spring-summer weather, with temperatures exceeding 20-25 degrees Celsius.
